May your walls know joy, may every room hold laughter, and every window open to great possibility.Mary Anne Radmacher-Hershey
I am addressing you, the reader, as I type. You clicked on this because maybe you read the title first, or maybe you saw the picture and it happened to catch your eye. Either way, welcome! I am currently living in my third apartment, the first for my boyfriend and I have never been happier. I’ve been roaming around the U.S. now for about six or seven years and I learned. I learned a lot. A LOT! AND I am so happy to be at this point in my life. I fought some people, lost and won some battles. I moved from here to there and back again. I worked in different states to make ends meet and I even went to school and changed my major two or three times. I’ve grown and still am growing. Through all these events though, I was able to figure out what I like to do, what I hate, and where I would like to live in the future. I’m here at the moment. Northern California, that is. It’s wonderful.
Back to my apartment though. Although, I am living with my boyfriend, we do agree with almost everything, which is why living here has been so special to me. We have our own place to be alone, a place to cook and clean, a place to argue, and a place to love. I want you to know how important that is, for everyone. You need your own space, even if it’s just a room to yourself. Make it yours. Own it. And take the time you need to be alone.
